Wander through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, cruise the UNESCO-listed Ha Long Bay, trek through Sapa’s ethnic villages and rice terraces, explore imperial and ancient towns in Central Vietnam, and experience daily life in the Mekong Delta before concluding in Ho Chi Minh City.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Old Quarter Tour

Arrive in Hanoi and meet your driver and tour guide for transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax before heading out for an afternoon walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the “36 Streets.”

Stroll through Hang Be Market, explore narrow alleys, and walk around Hoan Kiem Lake while discovering thousands of small local businesses and historic corners.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Day Cruise – Hanoi

After breakfast, depart by car for Ha Long Bay (approx. 2.5 hours). Board a cruise and explore one of the world’s most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Admire limestone karsts rising from emerald waters, explore caves, and enjoy optional activities such as kayaking or swimming. After lunch on board, return to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 3: Hanoi – Sapa – Tram Ton Pass – Love Waterfall

Depart Hanoi for Sapa. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before visiting Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam (2,047 metres above sea level).

Take in panoramic views of Hoang Lien National Park and enjoy a gentle trek through forest paths to Love Waterfall, surrounded by untouched nature.

Day 4: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Fansipan

Begin a scenic walking tour through Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, home to ethnic minority communities. Walk past terraced rice fields and enjoy outstanding photo opportunities.

In the afternoon, travel to Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina. Visit the temple complex before returning to Sapa for a peaceful evening.

Day 5: Sapa – Sin Chai Village – Hanoi

Return to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 6: Hanoi City Tour

Day 8: Hanoi – Flight to Hoi An

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Central Vietnam. Upon arrival, continue to Hoi An, check in, and relax.

Day 9: Hoi An – Tra Que Village – Boat Tour – Ancient Town

Travel through the countryside past rice paddies and palm forests. Visit Cam Thanh Coconut Forest and enjoy a bamboo basket boat ride.

Continue to Tra Que Village, enjoy a welcome drink, and explore farming life. In the afternoon, walk through Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, assembly halls, fish market, and a traditional lantern-making family.

Day 10: Hoi An – Flight to Can Tho

Fly to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta. Visit Binh Thuy Ancient House and the Temple of the Hung Kings.

Day 11: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ben Tre – Saigon

Early morning boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market. Continue along the Mekong River to Ben Tre, exploring brick kilns, coconut candy workshops, peaceful villages, and palm creeks by rowing boat.

Travel onward to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
Overnight in Saigon.

Day 12: Saigon City Tour – Departure

Explore Chinatown (Cho Lon) and Binh Tay Market, visit Thien Hau Temple, and walk along the Saigon River to Nha Rong Wharf.

Visit the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and General Post Office before transferring to the airport for departure.
