Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Hanoi Arrival & Old Quarter Tour

Pick-up from Noi Bai International Airport or Hanoi city centre and transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax.

In the late afternoon, begin a guided walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the “36 Streets.” Wander through Hang Be Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake, discovering narrow streets filled with local shops, cafés, and vibrant daily life. A perfect introduction to Vietnam’s capital.

Day 2 – Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast, begin a full-day city tour of Hanoi.

Pass colonial French architecture now used as government offices. Visit Ba Dinh Square and view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), followed by the One Pillar Pagoda from the 11th century. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university.

In the afternoon, explore the Ethnology Museum, showcasing the diverse ethnic groups of Vietnam. Visit Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake and learn about Vietnamese and French architectural influences. End the day with a relaxing one-hour low-speed cyclo ride through the city.

Day 3 – Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi

After breakfast, travel to Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

Visit Van Lam Village and enjoy a bamboo boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, passing limestone cliffs, caves, and lush rice paddies. Sail through Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves. After lunch, climb 500 steps at Mua Cave to enjoy panoramic views of Tam Coc.

Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient royal capital of Vietnam, before returning to Hanoi.

Day 4 – Hanoi – Sapa – Love Waterfall

Early morning departure to Sapa in northwestern Vietnam. Enjoy scenic views of rice terraces and mountain landscapes along the way.

Stop at Tram Ton Pass (2,047 metres above sea level), the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. Take a forest walk through Hoang Lien National Park and arrive at the beautiful Love Waterfall.

Day 5 – Sapa – Lao Chai – Fansipan

After breakfast, begin a 4-hour trekking tour through Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, home to ethnic minority communities. Walk among terraced rice fields and enjoy stunning photography opportunities.

After lunch, visit Fansipan, the highest peak of the Indochina Peninsula. Explore the complex and admire breathtaking mountain views before returning to Sapa.

Day 6 – Sapa – Sin Chai Village – Sapa

After breakfast, travel to Sin Chai Village near Mount Fansipan. Located within Hoang Lien National Park, the village is home to the Black H’Mong people, known for their traditional wooden houses.

Enjoy free time in the evening to explore Sapa town at your own pace.

Day 7 – Sapa – Hanoi

Free time in Sapa during the day. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi. Enjoy a free evening to explore Hanoi’s nightlife.

Day 8 – Hanoi – Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, depart for Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, board your cruise ship and enjoy lunch on board while sailing among thousands of limestone islands and grottoes. Participate in activities such as kayaking, swimming, or visiting caves. Relax on the deck and enjoy a fine dinner.

Day 9 – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Wake up to a stunning sunrise over Ha Long Bay. Enjoy a light breakfast while cruising among limestone formations. Join morning activities before checking out of your cabin.

Early brunch will be served before returning to the mainland. Transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 10 – Hanoi Departure

Free time until transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight.
