Travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang City, ride through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, conquer the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, cruise along the Nho Que River, stay in local homestays, and unwind at a hidden Du Gia waterfall before returning to Hanoi.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 0 – Hanoi → Ha Giang City

Pick-up takes place between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM from hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Transfer by shared vehicle to Ha Giang City.

Upon arrival, check in at a local homestay (shared room) and rest before the adventure begins.

Day 1 – Ha Giang City → Heaven Gate → H’Mong King Palace → Dong Van Town

The tour officially begins at your homestay in Ha Giang City. Meet your guide and Easy Rider drivers for a safety briefing and riding instructions.

Ride into the mountains and witness dramatic scenery changes along winding roads. Stop at Bac Sum Slope for panoramic views before continuing into the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO-recognized geological heritage site.

Highlights of the day include:

  • Terraced rice fields and limestone valleys
  • Quan Ba Heaven Gate & Twin Mountains
  • Rural villages showcasing traditional northern Vietnamese life
  • Visit to the historic H’Mong King Palace (Vuong Family Residence)
  • Scenic ride through Tham Ma Slope

Arrive in Dong Van Town, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, and relax at your homestay.

Day 2 – Dong Van → Ma Pi Leng Pass → Nho Que River → Du Gia Village

After breakfast, begin one of the most breathtaking days of the journey.

Ride along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the “King of Mountain Passes” in Vietnam, offering jaw-dropping views of cliffs, mountains, and rivers. Descend via the Sky Path to admire the emerald-green Nho Que River from above.

Continue through remote villages such as Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where daily life remains largely untouched by modern tourism. Enjoy lunch en route.

In the afternoon, arrive at Du Gia Village, home to multiple ethnic minority groups. Settle into a traditional homestay, enjoy dinner with a local Tay family, and experience warm village hospitality.

Day 3 – Du Gia Village → Du Gia Waterfall → Bac Me → Ha Giang → Hanoi

After breakfast, visit the peaceful Du Gia Waterfall, a hidden natural gem surrounded by forested hills.

Continue riding through Bac Me and Quan Ba, enjoying final scenic stretches of the Ha Giang countryside before returning to Ha Giang City in the afternoon.

Transfer back to Hanoi, arriving in the evening.
