Explore the Hanoi Red River region with experiential walks through ancient streets and green spaces in Vietnam’s capital. Visit Ninh Binh, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage area, and enjoy a scenic day cruise aboard a luxury boat in the world-famous Ha Long Bay.

Pick-up from Noi Bai International Airport or from Hanoi city centre. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and time to relax.
In the late afternoon, begin a guided walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the “36 Streets.” Walk through Hang Be Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake, an area filled with narrow streets, local shops, and vibrant daily life. This is an excellent area for photography and cultural exploration.

After breakfast, begin a full city tour of Hanoi. Drive past preserved French colonial residences that now serve as government offices.
Visit Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, where Vietnam’s independence was declared in 1945. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university with over 700 years of history.
Continue to West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Vietnam.
In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum, a research centre and public museum showcasing the diverse ethnic groups of Vietnam.
Later, visit Ngoc Son Temple at Hoan Kiem Lake, followed by one hour of low-speed cycling, offering a relaxed and immersive way to experience Hanoi.

After breakfast, travel to Van Lam village in Ninh Binh. Enjoy a bamboo boat ride rowed by a local villager through the stunning scenery of Tam Coc, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
While cruising along the Ngo Dong River, pass the filming locations of the movie Indochine. Continue through limestone cliffs to Hang Ca Cave, then glide past rice paddies toward the second cave, Ngo Dong, and later Hang Ba, the third cave.
After lunch, climb Mua Cave, ascending approximately 500 steps to enjoy panoramic views of Tam Coc and the Ngo Dong River, especially beautiful near sunset.
Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient royal capital of Vietnam, and admire its historic architecture before driving back to Hanoi.

After breakfast, drive to Ha Long Bay, one of the world’s great natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, board a traditional junk boat and enjoy a scenic cruise among thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from emerald waters. A fresh seafood lunch is served onboard.
After lunch, participate in optional activities such as cave visits, kayaking, or swimming, depending on conditions, before returning to Hanoi.

Your personal guide will meet you at the pick-up point holding a name card.
Please dress modestly when visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. Shoulders and knees must be covered.

Cancellations made less than four days prior to departure (including no-shows) are subject to 100% cancellation fees.
Tipping is customary for guides and drivers, approximately USD 5 per person per day.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed annually from mid-June to mid-August for maintenance.
The Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
Face masks are required when entering the Ho Chi Minh complex.
Bags are x-rayed by security, and crossing the yellow line is strictly prohibited.
On Mondays, the Ethnology Museum visit is replaced with the Women’s Museum.
