Pick-up

Pick up from the front of your hotel by our professional driver and tour guide. Begin the journey toward the Mekong River to start the day’s cultural exploration.

Pottery Village

Visit a traditional pottery village located on the opposite bank of the Mekong River, approximately 15 minutes by boat from Luang Prabang. Observe local villagers creating pottery using traditional techniques passed down through generations and learn about the role of pottery in everyday Lao life.

Pak Ou Caves

Continue by boat to the Pak Ou Caves, located at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. These two sacred caves house hundreds of centuries-old Buddha images and statues, making them one of the most important religious pilgrimage sites in Laos. The caves are especially significant during Lao New Year celebrations, when pilgrims visit to pay respect.

Ban Xang Khong Weaving Village

Cruise back along the river and stop at Ban Xang Khong, a traditional weaving village. Here, you will see local artisans working on wooden looms and have the opportunity to learn about traditional Lao textile production through practical demonstrations and interaction with local experts.

Drop-off

Cruise back to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, your driver will drop you off at the front of your hotel.

Prices are not valid during Christmas & New Year’s Eve (from December 23rd to January 3rd), Lao New Year (from April 10th to April 21st), public holidays, or peak seasons.
Tourism sites may be changed or replaced depending on renovations or scheduling changes.
The tour does not include visa arrangements and fees, transportation beyond the itinerary, additional meals, drinks, or any other services not mentioned.

Cancellations can be made at least 4 days prior to the departure date.
Cancellations made less than 4 days prior to departure (including no-shows) will be charged 100% of the total booking cost.

Sunscreen, mosquito spray, and good walking shoes are recommended.
Tipping is customary for guides and drivers (approximately USD 5 per person per day). Tips should be handed directly to the guide upon departure.
