In the morning, your driver and tour guide will pick you up from Ho Chi Minh City Opera House (District 1). Depart the city and head south toward the Mekong Delta, enjoying views of rural landscapes along the way.
Upon arrival, board a boat to cruise along the Mekong River. Observe lively river activities such as fishing, water transport, and local trading that form the backbone of daily life in the delta.
Visit one of the many coconut processing workshops in the area. Watch locals open coconuts by hand and learn how traditional coconut candies are made. Enjoy tastings of fresh tropical fruits and honey bee tea while learning about the region’s coconut-based economy.
Continue along smaller natural canals where the waterways narrow as you approach village areas. Visit a family-run workshop producing traditional sleeping mats, and see how these items are handmade using local materials.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you will be served authentic Vietnamese cuisine prepared with fresh regional ingredients.
In the afternoon, relax on a rowing boat ride along peaceful water palm creeks. Glide through shaded canals surrounded by lush greenery—a perfect opportunity for photography and quiet reflection.
